The Task

Layout of Oral Presentation

Your presentation should follow a very clear structure and be a cohesive piece of analysis.
You might use the following guide if you are stuck:
Opening statement:
define the issue being presented
define the intended audience
define the position the program is taking on the issue
Body of speech
Outline each of the persuasive techniques that the program uses to persuade the audience, using specific examples to illustrate your point
Conclusion
How effective are the persuasive techniques in terms of persuading the intended audience?

Below is a grid that you will use to analyse your selected segment from a current affairs program.

ClickView Videos
The videos will need to be saved onto your external hard drive/usb to be taken home over the holidays - the files are too large to be put onto the wiki.
In order to watch these videos from home, you will need to download the free 30 day trial of ClickView. Here is the link to go to the ClickView website and download it: http://www.clickview.com.au/home.php

Now here's the part where I don't know how this is going to work...you need to figure out how to open these video files up inside ClickView - the way to do this is by having them inside your 'schoolbag'. Try to find where your schoolbag files are - go to File > open schoolbag and figure it out, then put the video files in this folder and see if that works...then let me know what happens!
Watch the tutorial on how to open schoolbag files at home, if it helps: http://www.clickview.com.au/support/e_open_school_bag.php
